BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU and No. 19/16 Louisville square off in a Bluegrass State showdown Saturday morning at 11:00 (CT) at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville.
This is the eighth-straight season the Hilltoppers and Cardinals have played, with Louisville winning the six most recent contests after WKU knocked off the third-ranked Cardinals in Nashville, Tenn., to start the series in 2008. Entering Saturday’s game, the all-time series between the two schools dating back to 1926 is tied at 39, with the Cardinals leading 25-18 in games played in Louisville.
WKU is coming off back-to-back wins for the first time this season and enters the game with a 6-4 record, while Louisville checks in at 8-1 with its only loss at current top-ranked Michigan State by four points.
