BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball returns from a holiday reprieve to host Austin Peay at 7 p.m. CT Wednesday at E.A. Diddle Arena.
The Hilltoppers (5-7) are coming off a 67-66 win over Ohio on Dec. 21, in which they rallied from a 21-4 deficit in the first half to improve to 4-0 at home this season. Freshman Damari Parris’ free throw with 1.8 seconds left proved to be the game-winner.
Austin Peay (4-9) most recently fell 97-62 at then-No. 16 Indiana on Thursday. WKU leads the all-time series against the Governors 39-14 and has won seven straight matchups, including a 77-70 win in the 2014-15 campaign.
