BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Hilltopper Basketball head coach Ray Harper announced Thursday the addition of University of Tennessee transfer Jabari McGhee (F, 6-7, Albany, Ga.) to the program to suit up beginning in December 2016. McGhee is scheduled to have two-and-a-half years to play at WKU beginning midway through the 2016-17 season.
McGhee spent the 2014-15 season and the start of the 2015-16 campaign in Knoxville before transferring at the end of the fall semester. In 2014-15, McGhee played in eight games and made two starts before a foot injury ended his season. He was granted a medical redshirt for that season, and he played in six contests as a redshirt-freshman in 2015-16 and averaged 3.
