The Hilltoppers split a pair of home games last week against two of the top teams in the league, winning on Thursday against UAB to end the Blazers’ nation-leading 14-game winning streak before dropping a two-point decision to Middle Tennessee on Saturday in which the Hilltoppers clawed back from 19 points down at the start of the second half and led with five minutes to play.
