M. Basketball. Hilltoppers Return Home Tuesday Night to Host Detroit

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — With two home games left in the 2015-16 non-conference schedule, WKU looks to rebound from a loss at No. 16 Louisville on Saturday against Detroit Tuesday night at 7:00 (CT) at E.A. Diddle Arena.

The Hilltoppers shot uncharacteristically cold against the Cardinals, scoring 21 points below its season average and going just 2-for-18 from three-point range (.111) after entering the contest ranked 29th in the nation in shooting from distance (.401). The game was also WKU’s first without a 15-point scorer in the last 24 contests.

Despite the loss to the Cardinals, with a pair of wins WKU has a chance to finish non-conference play with an 8-5 record, which would be its best non-conference mark since 2013-14.
