Western Kentucky added a major piece to its new-look linebacker corps Tuesday.
Former Louisville linebacker Keith Brown announced on Twitter he's transferring to WKU. Brown later told the Daily News he'll arrive in Bowling Green on Friday and will be enrolled for the spring.
He took an official visit to WKU last weekend, where he struck up strong relationships with coach Jeff Brohm and defensive coordinator Nick Holt.
"I had a great time," Brown said. "I saw the roster has a bunch of players returning, and I saw they had a need at middle linebacker. I thought I could step in and fill that void.
