Forrest Lamp will gather Thursday night with friends and family in Venice, Fla. If most draft analysts are correct, they’ll be celebrating a first in Western Kentucky football history.
None of that comes as a surprise to Neil Callaway, who was Lamp’s offensive line coach at WKU from 2013-15. He now holds the same position at Southern Cal.
Callaway worked day in and day out with Lamp for three years. He said if an NFL team drafts the 6-foot-4, 309-pound lineman, that organization will get “the total package.”
Lamp’s teams went 39-14 during his four seasons at WKU.
