In less than two seasons, Western Kentucky's Mary Joiner has etched her name into the Lady Topper golf record book.
The sophomore sank a 10-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole Saturday to win the individual title at Eastern Kentucky's Colonel Classic, notching her fourth career victory and her second in the last three events.
Joiner's four individual titles in less than two seasons are already a program record.
Joiner entered the day with a two-stroke lead, but found herself tied with Akron's Danielle Nicholson after the final round with an even-par 144 (70-74) total at the University Club at Arlington.
