Western Kentucky sophomore women's golfer Mary Joiner tied the second-best 54-hole score in program history Tuesday, finishing third individually at North Florida’s UNF Collegiate in Jacksonville, Fla.
Joiner finished with a 4-under 212 (69-73-70) total at the par-72, 5,926-yard Jacksonville Golf and Country Club, tying her own career low previously reached in September at the USA Intercollegiate.
The 212 tally was just one stroke off Ellinor Haag’s program record of 211 set in 2014. Joiner now owns three of the top four 54-hole scores in Lady Topper history.
The Franklin native went a combined 9 under on par-5s throughout the tournament.
