Since Head Coach Michelle Clark-Heard arrived at WKU four years ago, losing is not something that the Lady Toppers have been used to. They certainly aren’t used to losing in E. A. Diddle Arena, where they haven’t lost since Jan. 31, 2015.
The Lady Tops (18-3) weren’t about to let that streak end on Thursday. Behind 17 points from Tashia Brown, WKU held on to beat a hot-shooting UTSA team by a final score of 72-65 on Thursday after falling on the road to MTSU on Saturday.
“We figured out what we needed to get the win and that’s the most important thing,” Coach Clark-Heard said.
