Western Kentucky senior middle hitter Rachel Anderson racked up 17 kills across WKU volleyball’s five-set loss at Austin Peay on Tuesday night in Clarksville, Tenn.
The Lady Toppers grabbed victories in the first and fourth sets in the 3-2 (26-24, 23-25, 16-25, 25-15, 10-15) road loss. WKU is now 14-8 on the season while Austin Peay improved to 18-3.
Anderson led the way for the WKU offense with 17 kills. The senior added six blocks, a dig and an assist. Sophia Cerino added 13 kills and Lauren Matthews had nine.
Taylor Bebout started at setter but gave way to Mary Martin.
