WKU picked up its sixth straight win on Tuesday evening, sweeping Lipscomb in Nashville in three sets (25-22, 25-14, 25-23).
The Lady Toppers (10-2) turned in a great defensive performance, posting 14.0 blocks as a team including eight apiece from Sydney Engle and Amara Listenbee.
“We haven’t been as good offensively in our last few matches, but we’ve really risen to the occasion with our blocking,” WKU head coach Travis Hudson said in a post-game press release. “While tonight’s third set did not go as well, in my opinion, we were fortunate enough to get out of there in three sets tonight because we certainly did not finish strong.
