BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - For the 69th time in the rivalry’s history, WKU and Middle Tennessee are set to meet at 2 p.m. inside E.A. Diddle Arena on Sunday in a nationally-televised bout on Fox College Sports between two of the top teams in C-USA.
Middle Tennessee leads the storied rivalry 41-27, but WKU owns a 2-1 edge since joining C-USA, including a 62-51 inside Diddle Arena in the last meeting on Feb. 25, 2016. In games played in Bowling Green, the Lady Toppers lead the series, 19-13.
In WKU’s last time out, the Lady Toppers overcame a 13-point second-quarter deficit to defeat UAB, 60-48, in the annual Education Day matchup on Thursday afternoon.
