Lady Toppers earn ITA academic awards

Western Kentucky junior Mariana Zegada won in both singles and doubles to help the Lady Toppers shut out Eastern Illinois 7-0 on Sunday at the Warren County Tennis Facility at Michael O. Buchanon Park.

Western Kentucky women's tennis was named an ITA All-Academic Team and seven Lady Toppers were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, the ITA announced Monday.
