Western Kentucky women’s basketball coach Michelle Clark-Heard has announced on Monday the addition of West Virginia transfer Alexis Brewer, a native of Buffalo, who will join the Lady Toppers for the 2017-18 season.
Due to NCAA transfer regulations, she must sit out during the 2017-18 campaign before becoming eligible during the 2018-19 season.
“Alexis will be a huge addition to our program,” Heard said in a news release. “She is a proven winner and has the ability to play multiple positions on the floor. She will add more depth for us at the guard position and we are very excited for her to join the Lady Topper basketball family.
