LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Taveion Hollingsworth will not be overlooked.
The WKU signee tallied 18 points and seven rebounds for his Thunder squad in Saturday’s Derby Festival Basketball Classic at Freedom Hall in Louisville.
Hollingsworth – a 6-foot-2 guard out of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Lexington, Ky. – made 7 of 15 shots, including two 3-pointers, in 21 minutes.
The three-star guard scored seven points in the first half before exploding with nine points in the third quarter.
The Derby Festival Basketball Classic was first held in 1973 and is billed as the oldest high school all-star game in the nation.
