Bac Totrong/Daily NewsTwo efficient performances from Western Kentucky’s Taveion Hollingsworth earned the guard Conference USA men’s basketball Freshman of the Week honors, as announced Monday by the league office.
This is the first weekly award of Hollingsworth’s career and WKU’s second of the season. Guard Jake Ohmer was also named C-USA’s Freshman of the Week on Nov. 27.
The 6-foot-2, 165-pound guard from Lexington averaged 15.
