On Monday night, the WKU men's basketball team defeated Brescia University 93-66 in their last game before Conference USA play to improve to 8-5 on the season.
This victory marks the Hilltoppers’ ninth-straight home win, their longest home winning streak since winning 12 in a row at Diddle Arena from Jan. 21st, 2011 to Dec. 29th, 2012.
While the Hilltoppers walked away with a blowout victory over a team from the NAIA division, WKU lead by only six points at halftime.
“I’m not going to sugarcoat it,” Head Coach Ray Harper said. “The one thing you do every time you step on the floor is that you compete no matter who you are playing.
