The Hilltopper defensive coordinator wanted all 11 of his men pursuing the football on every snap.
The latest is Jonathan Taylor. WKU coach Mike Sanford knows his team better be ready for him come Friday night’s season opener in Madison, Wis. (8 p.m., ESPN).
Sanford compared the sophomore Taylor to former Penn State star and current New York Giants rookie Saquon Barkley, touting his size, speed and power.
Taylor is the top play-making threat for a Wisconsin team ranked No. 4 in The Associated Press Top 25 poll.
“He’s 6-1, 230 and can blow the top off with the ball in his hands,” Sanford said.
