Tony Levine takes his role as Western Kentucky’s special teams coordinator as seriously as an offensive or defensive coordinator would with those jobs.
Levine, who also serves as tight ends coach and co-offensive coordinator, installs new kick coverage and return game plans each week based on studying the Hilltoppers’ opponent.
“Coach Levine, every week going into the week, special teams meetings are very serious,” wide receiver/returner Nacarius Fant said. “He’s got perfect schemes for us and if everybody does their job it’s more than likely going to work out for the team.”
Fant has scored twice on punt returns, most recently in a 50-3 home win Saturday over FCS foe Houston Baptist.
