Western Kentucky’s offense finally caught fire last week in its sixth game. The Hilltoppers hung 627 yards – 6.8 per play – and six touchdowns on the board in a 45-14 throttling of Charlotte.

That’ll be the challenge for the Toppers on Friday when they take the field at S.B. Ballard Stadium against Old Dominion. Kickoff from Norfolk, Va., is set for 5 p.m. CDT, with the game to be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.

WKU (4-2 overall, 2-1 Conference USA) will play four of its final six games this season away from Houchens-Smith Stadium. The Hilltoppers have struggled on the road this season, scoring only a combined 22 points in a 20-7 loss at Illinois and a 15-14 win at Texas-El Paso.
