NORFOLK, Va. – Western Kentucky was the aggressor for the first seven minutes Saturday. Then Old Dominion answered, and the Hilltoppers watched a 21-point lead and key road win simply vanish.
WKU (8-7 overall, 1-1 Conference USA) blew a 21-0 lead at the Ted Constant Center in a 69-66 Monarchs victory. ODU (11-4, 1-1) outscored the Toppers 32-18 over the final 13 minutes of the first half and then 37-27 in the second.
