WKU (20-14) wasn’t invited Sunday night to the 32-team National Invitation Tournament. That news, combined with the program’s policy not to play in any non-NCAA or non-NIT postseason events, put a wrap on the 2018-19 Topper season.
A team that began the season with hopes of making noise in the NCAA Tournament will instead stay home and think about what could’ve been.
