Josh Anderson, Dalano Banton and Tolu Smith combined for 33 points in the Hilltoppers’ 80-74 defeat at Curb Event Center. Those 33 points were the most WKU’s bench has produced in a game this season, surpassing the previous high of 26 in a Nov. 10 home win over Tennessee-Martin.
“We’re just trying to play hard, play with grit and toughness and come out and do whatever we’ve got to do to win,” the freshman guard Banton said.
Anderson, Banton and Smith arrived at their 33 points on combined shooting efforts of 13-of-21 from the floor, 1-of-3 from 3-point range and 6-of-6 from the foul stripe.
