C-USA released its 2018 Preseason Coaches Poll on Wednesday, with the Hilltoppers projected to finish 12th out of the league’s 12 baseball-playing schools. Southern Mississippi was picked first, followed by Rice and Florida Atlantic.
WKU stumbled to a 16-39 overall record in 2017, with a 6-24 mark in C-USA play. 2018 will be the Toppers’ third season under coach John Pawlowski.
