It wasn't a specific incident that caused Western Kentucky coach Ray Harper to dismiss guard Chris Harrison-Docks on Sunday, but instead what he called the "totality" of the issue.
Harper addressed the redshirt junior's departure with the media Tuesday ahead of two home games this week, starting against Conference USA front-runner UAB at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at E.A. Diddle Arena.
"As a coach, you never want this situation," Harper said. "But again, it's like having a family of five kids. You've got to do what's best for the family. At this point, it was what was best for this family.
