The freshman Ohmer has gone cold, even as the Toppers (13-5 overall, 5-0 C-USA) are winning. He’s scored two points or less in four of WKU’s five C-USA games thus far and is shooting 14.3 percent from the floor and 25 percent from 3-point range during conference play.
Ohmer’s last double-digit outing was a 12-point night Dec. 13 in an 81-80 loss at Wisconsin. Since that outing, the 6-foot-1 Taylor Mill native has averaged 3.1 points over his last seven games. He missed WKU’s 72-55 win Dec. 22 at Austin Peay due to a concussion.
For the season, Ohmer is averaging 7.
