Western Kentucky’s golf teams swept the Conference USA Golfer of the Week awards, the league announced Wednesday.
Hilltopper sophomore Riley Grindstaff won the weekly honor for the second time in his career, while Lady Topper senior Sarah Arnold picked up her first honor ever and the second for the program this season.
Grindstaff finished in third at the Pinetree Intercollegiate hosted by Kennesaw State on Tuesday, while leading the team to a tie for second place.
His finish was the best by a Hilltopper since the fall of 2019 and the team finish was the best by a WKU squad since the spring of 2017.
