LaRue County tight end Mark Goode announced via Twitter on Thursday night his verbal commitment to play for Tyson Helton’s Hilltoppers, becoming the second pledge from Kentucky and fifth overall in the last week.
As a junior, the 6-foot-6, 250-pound tight end led LaRue County with 160 receiving yards and three touchdowns on six receptions. Goode also averaged 15.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per game for the Hawks’ basketball team.
Goode attended one of WKU’s prospect camps this month and received a scholarship offer from the Hilltoppers on Sunday. He committed four days later to join South Warren offensive lineman Colt Jackson as the other in-state commitment.
