Former Western Kentucky running back Marquez Trigg announced Wednesday that he'll finish his college football career at Wagner.
"It's been a long process," Trigg wrote on Twitter, announcing he'll play for the FCS program in Staten Island, N.Y. "Ready to get to NY this weekend and get ready for the 2019 season!"
Trigg is a Glasgow native who signed with WKU in the Class of 2015 after a standout career at Glasgow High School. He averaged 135 yards per game on the ground and tallied 4,765 yards and 75 touchdowns over his career for the Scotties.
Trigg played 10 games in 2016 as a redshirt freshman.
