One of the best teams in Western Kentucky history is about to play for the final time.
The No. 25 Hilltoppers (11-2) bring their unprecedented season to a close at 1:30 p.m. CST Monday against South Florida in the Miami Beach Bowl at Marlins Park. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
"I think our guys are starting to get locked in," WKU coach Jeff Brohm said. "They understand the importance of this football game. Really when it comes down to a bowl game like this, teams are going to be evenly matched. It's going to be about who wants it the most, who's willing to fight for it, who's going to come out and fight to the end.
