Western Kentucky men's basketball coach Ray Harper has settled on answers for what makes Marshall so successful offensively, and what its style reminds him of.
"No conscience," Harper said. "It's like playing the Globetrotters."
Marshall put up a Globetrotter-esque performance on WKU the first time the teams met this season in Huntington, W.Va., winning that showdown 94-76 in a runaway.
The Hilltoppers (12-12 overall, 4-7 Conference USA) will try to avoid another defensive breakdown when they host the Thundering Herd at 7 p.m. Saturday at E.A. Diddle Arena.
"We have fans cheering for us, and we can't play the way we played over there in front of our fans," senior forward Aleksej Rostov said.
