Former WKU tight end Tyler Higbee was arrested and jailed at Warren County Regional Jail Sunday morning for second-degree assault, alcohol intoxication in a public place and fleeing or evading police, second degree.
The 23-year-old was booked at 2:41 a.m. and held with a $10,000 bond, according to the Warren County Regional Jail’s website. He was released at 3:15 p.m. according to the site.
Higbee, one of only two WKU players to be invited to the NFL Combine, is expected to be an early-round draft pick. He had recently visited the Denver Broncos training facility and attended a workout with the New Orleans Saints.
