Former WKU tight end Higbee signs with agent

Former Western Kentucky tight end Tyler Higbee has signed with Erik Burkhardt of Select Sports Group for representation ahead of the NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Higbee finished the 2015 season with 48 catches for 563 yards and eight touchdowns.

He missed five games, including the Miami Beach Bowl win over South Florida, with a sprained knee originally suffered Oct. 15 at North Texas.

Higbee is slated to participate in the Reese’s Senior Bowl on Jan. 30 in Mobile, Ala.

He'll be the third player in WKU history to participate in the all-star game, joining former tight end Jack Doyle (2013) and running back Antonio Andrews (2014).
