Former Western Kentucky swimmer Claire Donahue kept her hopes of making the U.S. Olympic Swim Team alive by qualifying for Monday night's finals in the 100-meter butterfly Sunday at the U.S. Olympic swimming trials in Omaha, Neb.
Donahue finished in a time of 58.03 seconds in the preliminaries to advances to the semifinals, where she clocked a time of 58.76 to place seventh and move on as a top-eight finisher for Monday night's finals.
Donahue swam the 100 fly at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, where she set a personal-best time of 57.42, and also won gold as part of the U.
