BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU completed the first third of their spring practice season on Wednesday, a pads-on practice for two hours inside Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium.
For a defense looking to replace seven starters, it was a positive day for defensive coordinator Nick Holt’s group which flashed athletically at every position on the day.
“We need a lot of work, (but) I like the athleticism of some of our guys – our young guys,” Holt said. “I think we’re going to have some depth, but we have a long, long way to go.
