BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU was back on the practice field on Wednesday for their second practice of the 2016 spring season under windy but warm, blue skies over Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium.
The talk of the spring season will be centered around a sole position on offense, but defensively, coordinator and associate head coach Nick Holt is looking to replace seven starters from last year’s Conference USA champion group, including two of three in his position group, linebacker. Where the Hilltoppers lack in starting experience, they return a wealth of game experience as they benefit from playing a number of players in 2015.
