BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU head football coach Jeff Brohm announced the first addition of his 2016 coaching staff with the hiring of offensive assistant Chris Barclay on Wednesday.
Barclay comes to The Hill after spending two years at Marshall where he coached the running backs.
A Louisville, Ky., native, Barclay earned his bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest where he remains the school’s all-time leading rusher with 4,032 yards and 40 touchdowns and was a two-time All-ACC First Teamer, earning letters at the school from 2002-05. He became the first player in ACC history to lead the league in rushing three consecutive seasons and was named the 2005 ACC Player of the Year.
