BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU added the fourth member of its 2016 signing class and second from Ashland Paul Blazer High School as the program announced the signing of running back Quinton Baker (Ashland, Ky.) to a National Letter of Intent on Monday.
Baker joins teammate Drew O’Bryan who signed with the Hilltoppers last week.
The 5-foot-8 speedster led all of KHSAA Class 4A in rushing and scoring during his senior campaign with 1,976 yards and 26 touchdowns, averaging 165 yards per game for coach Tony Love’s Tomcats. Baker’s nearest competitor for the rushing crown in Kentucky’s class 4A was over 300 yards behind him in as many games, while his 165 yards per game ranked tied for fifth in the state across all classes.
