BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Following WKU’s annual Media Day on Wednesday, head coach Jeff Brohm announced the return of former Hilltopper letterman Ryan Beard to the coaching staff as well as additional titles for current assistants.
Beard, a three-year letterwinner (2008, 2010-11) for the Hilltoppers in their early years of transitioning to the FBS, will coach the safeties as one of the nine full-time assistants while graduate assistant Chris Springer will direct the cornerbacks.
Beard spent two seasons on the coaching staff as a defensive graduate assistant in 2012-13.
