BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Former professional and collegiate star quarterback Brian Brohm has been tabbed to lead the Hilltopper quarterbacks, WKU head football coach Jeff Brohm announced on Monday.
The third-year head coach also announced further coaching assignments for 2016. Bryan Ellis, who previously served as WKU’s running backs coach, will lead the receivers and offensive assistant Chris Barclay, a former NFL running back, will coach the running backs. Defensive assistant Reggie Johnson will direct the defensive ends this season.
Brohm comes to The Hill following an eight-year professional career in the National Football League and Canadian Football League, in which he played for the NFL’s Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills as well as the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
