MIAMI — With the sea of tables, spread of food and wealth of hugs and greetings going around, Western Kentucky and South Florida didn't seem like foes Thursday night.
"It's almost like a family reunion," WKU redshirt senior tight end Tim Gorski said.
Both sides may be growing tired of the storyline involving South Florida coach Willie Taggart and his connection to WKU, along with his staff. But when the teams square off at 1:30 p.m. CST Monday in the Miami Beach Bowl, there will be plenty of familiarity.
Before things get too intense, they had the chance to catch up as old friends Thursday.
