Western Kentucky’s first Class of 2018 commitment announced Thursday that he’ll look to play college football elsewhere.
Offensive tackle Sam Stovall (Notre Dame High School, Chattanooga, Tenn.) announced on Twitter that he’s decommitted from the Hilltoppers. He became WKU’s first Class of 2018 commit back in April of ’17.
Stovall is rated a three-star prospect by 247 Sports Composite ranked No. 1,702 in the Class of 2018, No. 145 among offensive tackles in the class and No. 46 among Tennesseans in the class.
Stovall has listed scholarship offers from Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Texas-San Antonio and FCS schools Mercer and Richmond.
