Western Kentucky picked up a pair of Class of 2018 football commitments Sunday, including its first quarterback commit of the class.
Quarterback Kevaris Thomas (Lakeland High School, Lakeland, Fla.) and defensive back Que Reid (Jay M. Robinson HS, Concord, N.C.) both announced commitments Sunday to WKU.
Reid and Thomas’ pledges give coach Mike Sanford and his Hilltoppers 24 verbal commitments in the Class of 2018.
Reid is a 5-foot-10, 182-pound prospect who also played running back in high school but is likely to play defensive back at WKU. He was recruited by defensive coordinator Clayton White.
