Brown, Noble lead WKU past Belmont

Kendall Noble was asked Tuesday after Western Kentucky’s win against Belmont what she thought of Tashia Brown’s 29-point outing.

“Tashia’s great,” said Noble, who scored 24 of her own points.

Brown was sitting to her left at the postgame podium and cut in, saying, “Kendall’s great.”

The truth is both of them were correct in judging each other’s performances Tuesday.

Brown and Noble led the way with their big scoring nights and the Lady Toppers closed non-conference play with an 80-65 victory against the Bruins at E.A. Diddle Arena.

WKU (9-2) has won six straight games.
