BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After wins in the first two games, WKU (14-9, 3-3 C-USA) rallied with two runs in the bottom of the seventh to complete the sweep over Middle Tennessee (12-12, 1-5 C-USA) with a 2-1 victory at Nick Denes Field on Easter Sunday.
Left-handed starting pitcher Ryan Thurston was absolutely dominant on the mound for the Hilltoppers as the Blue Raiders only registered three total hits, the lowest given up by WKU this season. Thurston took a no-hitter into the top of the sixth before a MTSU single put the Blue Raiders up 1-0.
