NASHVILLE, Tenn. – WKU (23-18, 9-9 C-USA) notched its fourth win in a row on Tuesday night as the Hilltoppers capped off the season sweep of Lipscomb (20-21) by claiming a 4-3 victory at Dugan Field in midweek action.
With the triumph, the Tops secured their first win in Nashville over the Bisons since the 2012 campaign and their first sweep over Lipscomb since 2009. It was also the first triumph away from home for the Hilltoppers since defeating UAB in the final game of that Conference USA series on April 3, with John Pawlowski’s squad earning its seventh midweek victory of the year.
