The Lady Toppers’ defenders flew around the floor, with three different WKU players posting at least 13 digs. Setter Jessica Lucas directed the offense like usual, posting 41 assists.
It all added up to a 3-0 WKU sweep of Notre Dame on Friday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Memorial Coliseum. WKU won the sets by scores of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-22.
