Austin Peay smacks around Hilltopper pitching in 20-12 slugfest

Austin Peay scored at least two runs in six of its eight innings at the plate Tuesday, pounding Western Kentucky's baseball team 20-12 in Clarksville, Tenn.

Seven Hilltopper pitchers – Eric Crawford, Jack Lambert, Reese Brewer, Evan Snyder, Maddex Richardson, Dalton Shoemake and Kenny LaPierre – were charged with either two or three runs apiece in the eight-run loss.

Governors shortstop Garrett Kueber went 5-for-6, driving in five runs, scoring four and hitting a home run. APSU outfielder Aaron Campbell collected four RBIs, while second baseman Malcolm Tipler hit a homer.

Richard Constantine made his return to the WKU lineup after missing the past 14 games.
