Courtesy of WKUWKU assistant men’s basketball coach Ben Hansbrough has resigned and will “pursue other opportunities,” WKU associate director of media relations Zach Greenwell confirmed with the Herald Monday. This resignation comes following an arrest for driving under the influence on Saturday night.
Hansbrough was arrested Oct. 14 with a bond set of $1,000, and released early Sunday morning.
The incident happened in the parking lot of El Mazatlan, a restaurant in Bowling Green, where Hansbrough was involved in a collision, according to a police report obtained by Chad Bishop of WBKO.
